August 5th is National Work Like a Dog Day. I googled what the origin of that saying is and the most popular theory is that it is a reference to farm dogs that would work from sunrise to sunset every single day. Well, Daisy is not a farm dog and she has no real job. She wakes up, I take her to the bathroom and then I give her a treat. Then I carry her to the couch and she naps. Then she tells me she wants to play so I play with her. Exactly at 5, she tells me she wants to go on a walk and afterwards, tells me it's dinner time. She tells me she wants to play again and after she's tired, I place her in bed. Notice how there's a lot of I in my paragraph and what I do for her. But at the end of the day, she makes me laugh and makes me feel happy so I have to admit that's her work. What is your dogs job?
