Last week, I wrote about top 5 cruelty free sunscreens you can purchase at Target and other drugstores which you can read about here. This week, the list is for high end sunscreens you can purchase at Sephora and other department stores.
Usually, I purchase high end skin scare items because I have such sensitive skin that likes to break out all the time on the worst places. I recently moved so a friend and I explored the bars in my new neighborhood. Really fun, actually so fun that I decided passing out right after giving a hug to Pixie was a great idea instead of taking my makeup off. Well my face didn't agree and I broke out right next to my nose. A sexy place to have a mole but an awful place to have a pimple. Ugh worth it, but ugh. Ok, back to sunscreen. I normally would reach out for a high end sunscreen because I consider it skincare. But they say that the formula expires after a year which makes me rethink it since I only wear such high SPF during the summer time. I'm always on the fence about this and this year, I decided to buy a drugstore brand again.
- Supergoop! Defense Refresh Setting Mist SPF 50
- Josie Maran Argan Daily Mositurizer SPF 47
- Murad Essential-C Day Moisture Broad Spectrum SPF 30
- Murad Invisiblur Perfecting Shield Broad Spectrum SPF 30
- MDSolarSciences Mineral Creme Broad Spectrum SPF 50
Though the Supergoop! one sounds so convenient, I'm a little wary of the effectiveness of it. Have you found a sunscreen that isn't sticky and leaves a casper like mask? Please let me know so I can finally figure out safe sun without actually hating it.
